Counterbalance Forklift Training Langley - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift is a forklift together with a weight which counters the balance, allowing the load's weight to be spread evenly across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are made so the weight on the lift is counterbalanced by the weight behind the centre of gravity. The load is projected out from the front of the equipment so it is visible to the forklift driver. This type of forklift truck should only be utilized on level, stable ground or on a prepared surface.
Training is needed for forklift operators to know the right method to distribute the load equally across the arms of the forklift. Trainees will know how to lower and raise the load vertically and how to tilt the forklift mast both forwards and backwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Trainees would be taught the RTITB standards needed for safely operating the forklift. People training would also become familiar with the kinds of attachments for the forklift arms.
